Ah, I know what you must be thinking, beach. Yes, that’s right. So the saying goes, sky above, sand below and peace within. The beach, the sound of those waves coming in and going out has always brought me comfort to no end. While I’m at the beach, I become more aware of my surroundings and I want to feel it all. I love the sound of the ocean, the wind blowing every which way and the sand so cool no matter the heat from the sun. Every day there was a different sunrise and a sunset that just had no repeat. The colors reminded me of “wild thing, you make my heart sing!” I was totally captivated and inspiration for this quilt came from the whole array of beachy colors.
