Three Things Thursday

I love when Thursday rolls around. The three things for today are in order of what happens now; Gloriana, quilts and groceries.

Gloriana is my granddaughter and she is walking towards her 9th birthday in September. She’ll be a 3rd grader when school starts next month. Yes, next month! August 14 will be her first day back to school. It’s an occasion for all of us. Sometimes we walk to and from school, all of three blocks. As Grandparents, we like to participate as much as we can in her school events.

Secondly, for this Thursday another topic is quilts. I have been slow to post pictures of a quilt that I made for my first born daughter, Geneve. This quilt’s personality is much like Geneve. The blue colored florals are distinctively feminine while the yellows radiate and bring light into the space. I love spending time together and we do have some similar interests.

Next up, Thursday is my grocery shopping day. I usually shop online and schedule curbside pickup. All I have to say is Grocery shopping is not my favorite thing to do.

Geneve’s Quilt
Minky backing makes this quilt soft and cuddly.
We make time for shopping!
