This has been a memorable week. I worked on several quilty projects. Monday was the start with the release of week four of #asthecrowflies Halloween mystery quilt. This is the center block and it looks like it is the center of attention. The block is simple but presents with vibrant and playful colors of Halloween.

I also discovered a great “ quilty” children’s book that is sure to delight young and old. The story’s theme is how being different is a good thing. The story tells of a little ghost that was actually a quilt!

To complement the book I made a mini “ghost” quilt to go with the book.

Later in the week I did some major cutting, new project to sew next week. I am still on the search for a bigger cutting table with the cutting mat attached. Looking for at least a 40 inch x 60 inch table would make my cutting work easier. If you have a suggestion let me know. Until next time, may the 1/4 be with you!
