I have an 8 year old Granddaughter and we visit and talk everyday, afterall she is my next door neighbor. She has grown to like a lot of the things that make my world go ‘round! We both enjoy baking, gardening, movies, shopping and the list goes on and on. Above all, we love to sew. Her very first experience sewing was learning the different decorative stitches on the machine. Her first project was a mini quilt that she envisioned for her dolls. This year before school started, she made a larger version of a mini quilt. She selected three different fabrics from her impressive fat quarter stash and quickly sewed all the fabrics together. Her project when completed was a fabulous piece of work which she gifted to her 3rd grade teacher.
