Sew, we are way past Christmas but I still want to share this story. Before the holiday rush began I joined a Fort Worth Fabric Store group SAL ( quilt talk for sew along) to complete a Christmas quilt. The SAL was a mystery because each week we were given a task to complete. There was a recommendation for the different fabrics to be used. Knowing I had stacks of fabrics in my stash, I curated my own green/red Christmas palette. The mystery of cutting, sewing and piecing the different blocks soon became a revelation of Christmas trees and stars.
